Well, it's the week of Father's Day. Are you ready? I always want to be ready more in advance than I am, and make it the most special day we can for dad. But, that never seems to happen. My boys and I have even had all weekend to get ready without dad here (he's visiting our sweet nephew, Ben in Arkansas), but somehow we haven't got a thing done. Actually, I know why we haven't. My boys aren't exactly keen on going to any kind of store these days. It's summer vacation, there's no time for shopping!
Thank goodness for Pinterest! At least I can "shop" around for ideas at home, and then hopefully I'll get a chance to run to a store or two for supplies when my husband gets home, which may be awhile. He used some buddy passes (you only get on the flight if there are any seats available after the plane is loaded) to fly there and back. He made it to Arkansas just fine, but is stuck in Memphis right now. He was supposed to be home last night. He, and my brother-in-law, are now hoping to catch a flight in a few hours to Denver, and then on to Salt Lake City. But there aren't great chances of getting on to Salt Lake, so they may just rent a car and drive the 8 hours home form Denver to Utah. What an adventure! But so worth it to see Ben!
Anyway, here are some of the ideas I've found over the past few weeks that have caught my eye. We want dad to feel as special as he can on his day, and these are all perfect for just that!
